I don’t know if any of you have experienced this issue yet, but I have a 2022 2dr bronco big bend and my driver side window and my passenger side windows stops at different points when fully down. My driver side window does not go as far down into the door as the passenger. I noticed this and immediately thought I needed to re calibrate the window. But that didn’t help. Just looking to see if anyone else is experiencing this and if anyone has a solution.

This video shows how to adjust the window glass if recalibration doesn't help.

Mine has done that since day one, sometimes it goes lower if I do a full auto down from fully closed, and sometimes it leaves a slight bit showing above the gasket, if it stop mid point.

i have yet to figure out rhyme or reason for it, or a way to make work like the passenger one does,.

also a 2 door.

Good morning, Josh. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this window concern on my end? Thanks!

I have this same issue on my 4dr. It happens most with the 2 passenger side windows. Sometimes they go down all the way, sometimes they stop with about ¾ - 1" of glass still showing. Usually when this happens, if I try to roll it all the way up, it goes up and immediately rolls down again.

I basically have to inch it upwards, as close to fully closed as possible, and leave it like that. Eventually it seems to return to normal. It's happened in both hit and cold temperatures (20° - 95° F).

At my first service I reported it, but they couldn't replicate it. I'll report it again when I take it in for my 10k soon.

I've had three varieties of this type of issue. I only recently learned about the up/down reset method, so the first two I have not had since to test it on.

2023 BD non-sas 4DR 2.7 Auto

1. The rear driver-side window stops about a half inch from being closed using both auto-up and manual up to close it. Lowering it does not fix it and increases the distance it does not close each time you attempt to get it to close by about another half-inch to an inch each attempt. Turning the vehicle off and on does not fix it. The only fix I found was to open the door and close it again. Then it auto closes itself without further input needed. Has happened 6-10 times. Ford is unable to reproduce so they didn't attempt any fixes or further investigation.

2. The driver window will attempt to close and when almost closed it puts itself back down about an inch. Opening the door allows it to close, then it seems ok. Has happened 6-10 times. Didn't bother asking Ford to fix it as they likely would not be able to reproduce it so no point.

3. The driver window did not open the 1/4 inch or so like usual when being opened. Besides forcing it to flex past the gasket when you open it, it also remained fully up so it could not close as it couldn't clear the gasket (resulting in the door being closed with the glass outside the gasket. The up/down reset fixed this. Has yet to happen again.
