All,

I need to replace my window motor. Took it apart, window was stuck up. When I took the motor off, I lost control of the weight of the window and as it came down I lost the tension cables and crap went everywhere. I’m stuck trying to get the below part to screw back. I am 💯 sure I’m missing something, but this is where I am losing my mind. Any help welcome. Thank you!

one pic is my problem, the other it what it should look like.

Looks like a spring on the outside part (collar?) that's in to the left of what you got in your hand is all that's missing.

The spring goes on the outside, the "collar", then the screw piece goes inside and somehow turns and locks or something?

It’s some kind of locking mechanism that came apart in a flash but won’t screw back together.

Update: I gave up. Keeping tension on the cables was a pain and then one of the cables came loose from inside the door. To the dealer. I’ll do them a solid and leave it disassembled.
