........I also happen to have, you know, the most capable 4-wheel-drive platform on the planet, a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, so if I or some hot chics get the urge to disconnect some sway-bars, I can make that happen at the press of a button.
What's the tow rating of the "most capable 4-wheel-drive platform on the planet"?

I don't know how many times I can say the same thing without just straight-up insulting people.

The black interior of a Badlands is just straight up ugly. I mean, who gets a black interior unless it's an all-black vehicle?

Contrary, the Medium Sandstone Leather interior trimmed with Black Onyx looks amazing.

Under no circumstances is a chic (other than perhaps a Badlands owner) going to say a Badlands interior is nicer than a Wildtrak. It's just not happening.

Seeing as you actually, you know, drive the fuckin things from the inside , it stands to reason someone would, you know, value the appearances of the interior.

And some of us don't really need a sway-bar disconnect because A- We're not taking our new $65K Broncos rock-crawling, you go ahead and do it , I'm good - because B- IF I decide to , I also happen to have, you know, the most capable 4-wheel-drive platform on the planet, a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, so if I or some hot chics get the urge to disconnect some sway-bars, I can make that happen at the press of a button.
You miss the point this is strictly performance and getting more bang for your Buck. Sorry I struck a nerve. Kinda sounds like regret and you are trying to convince yourself you made the right choice šŸ˜‚

I am right with you regarding the WT! I was excited about the model - ordered it at @ midnight on opening night and - because I refused to change my spec - I finally brought it home last Monday (4/28) and have LOVED the first 600 miles.

I did not care about rock crawling, wanted the lux package and power leather and my 5'1, 115lb spouse insisted on side steps so it was either WT or OBX and once I added all the options to the OBX the WT was a few dollars less . . . and I am extremely happy with the choice. Even though the sightings have become slightly more common this thing turns heads with every voyage. Where I live - in the Burlington, Vermont area, it is a sea of Prius's and Subarus . . . and every one of those folks secretly (at least in my mind!) wishes they were behind the wheel of this Sasquatched Bronco when we pass each other on the roads!!

It is 'Mud Season' and I have passed over a couple miserable back roads with flying colors . . . and yes - I could have done this with a BaseSquatch with the 2.7 . . . but after having the 12" screen, the awesome leather seats and other amenities (this is my daily driver - 30 miles of highway to work daily - and I have spoiled myself with adaptive cruise over my last couple vehicles so it is a must!) I have zero regrets.

Uhh, no bro, but if that makes YOU feel better, go ahead and feel better. I like looking better than you. That's important to me. I have plenty of performance too, so , I'm all good.

I'm sorry, what would I be towing while off-roading?

If your idea is spending more for less capability is a win, then you sir a the biggest winner lol

Based on capability. Having additional capability isn’t a bad thing. Having a 58k desert runner that can’t crawl on some rocks is concerning. I have a 52k rock crawler that also is a desert runner. What is your argument? Lol
Suggesting that any of the Broncos without the electronic sway bar disconnect cannot climb rocks as well as the Badlands is foolish. With a wrench and 10 minutes, my OBX would have more articulation than a Sasquatch'd Badlands (mostly because my OBX has the Badlands suspension). The same thing applies to the WildTrak (except articulation would be the same as a Sasquatch Badlands - potentially more based on something I read but have not confirmed).

There's my argument. ;) Although, I would agree that a non-sasquatch Badlands, out of the box has the most off-road capabilities.

sound arguement. I still think my badlands has MORE capability on paper than a WT. key word is more

BaseSquatch owners when they realize they don’t have Baja GOAT mode or a SBD:

Internet Trolls when they realize BaseSquatch owners have FORSCAN and know how to use a wrench.

How is being able to disconnect the staybar on the fly to allow all 4 tires to contact the ground for more traction not an argument?

Similar thoughts, except for a few deviations on my build (an OBX). I wanted the lightest, quickest, Bronco configuration that would make my weekly 12 hour round trip easier for me than making the trip in my 2011 F-150 with washout floors, manual windows, locks, and mirrors.

So I ended up with an OBX 2D 2.7 with lux and tow. I am thrilled with the cloth seats (which are super comfortable and won't burn me in the Texas heat in the summer) and nicely carpeted floors which are great for driving in bare feet. The adaptive cruise control is awesome for long distance. I can quickly swap out the highway tires for my 33.5" mud-terrain tires. It is a compromise in that it's not the ultimate off-roader, but I don't feel like I am terribly limited by the lack of a front locker or SBD, especially with 33.5" tires.

I also paid under $50k. So ya, I am happy and living with the shame of not having a Badlands, WildTrak, or First Edition... LOL, owning an OBX, it's almost as bad as Herpes.

It’s like saying a text vs a letter by mail is the same and a text isn’t anymore ā€œcapableā€. Just because you can achieve the same result either way doesn’t mean the staybar isn’t more capable. Being able to have it connected and only disconnect when needed is a big advantage. Rather than having it on all the time or off all the time.

It's certainly a nice feature, but it's not like the rock crawling sneaks up on you. It is pretty easy to just disconnect the sway bar at the start of the day and go wheeling. It's not like the Bronco is going to handle badly without it at relatively sane speeds.

I am willing to bet that under most conditions, most people couldn't even tell the difference between a Bronco with or without a swaybar on the road at speeds between 30-60 MPH.
