You're smart to get a new hobby. I've just been buying parts and accessories from flip @Ruxer and others. They are supposed to start arriving Monday. If I keep going at this rate I'll be able to bolt a Bronco together in my garage before Ford ships the one they supposedly built for me.

Oh I'm still buying parts as well, but getting into turntables has helped a lot. Before I knew it, hours would tick by looking at different online record stores, watching YouTube setup videos, going to stores to check out their vinyl selections, shopping around for upgradable parts and accessories. It definitely has been a time waster...in a good way.

So what does my fellow #BadBatch folk think about Ford's latest Rockstar decision making, and more importantly how it may effect our sitting Broncos.?

A heck of a lot of August build weeks just got punted to 09/20.

Presumably this is to allow for a steady flow of First Edition builds as they need to be built as MY21.

This will further deplete the MIC top supply chain as it appears all builds have been punted (ie. Including Soft Tops).

Do y'all think we'll be parked a heck of a lot longer than our worst nightmares...

Or perhaps these delays are meant to take care of the #BadBatch.... Who knows anymore....

I just bought a Pro-Ject Carbon Evo (in white) and I'm super excited to use it!

Bought an Excursion off an auction website and fixed it up. It’s been a dang blast. I drove it from Tulsa to Austin today because I’m going to the Off-Roadeo tomorrow and Monday.

Definitely not a good sign. It shows that Ford doesn’t believe they’ll end up making near the number of Broncos in MY21 as they first expected so they better get those FEs done ASAP. However, I know a lot of FE order holders are frustrated they weren’t all ‘First,’ so good news for them.

The optimist in me (who died about a week ago) says the delayed new builds are so we can get ours out of quarantine, the realist says it's so the can get those high $$ 2 dr FE's pushed out, the pessimist says we're just screwed.

they have to be doing this to :

a) get all the promised FE’s built
b) get all the the Broncos that have been built but failed QC out

it has to be only good new for us that have Broncos sitting at map

What SHOULD happen is that Ford actually clears their backlogged built Broncos and get them out to their respective customers. It makes no sense for them to sit on built inventory ,parts were paid to the part suppliers, UAW were paid to build the product, letting them sit outside and not get them off their inventory books is bad business and bad PR neither of which Ford can afford at the moment..

what probably will happen is we continue to see VINs created build weeks added and no clear picture of what Ford will do to get their built inventory out to their customers ...
