Who has a JCR Winch Mount?

I have a JCR on the stock modular bumper, with a Sherpa 4X4. I was told that most winches are pretty similar as far as mating points, at least the Sherpa was designed with the same pattern as the Warn.

Thanks for the pictures. It almost looks like your winch sits half way below the top of the bumper - Or is that just the angle of the pictures?

Is your winch all the way to the back of that mounting tray, or is there still a bit of room?

I have a light bar on my front bumper, and I'm trying to keep it and mount a winch. I'm more worried about the spacing, as it sticks out past the bumper about 1.5" at most, but I'm also curious on how much light I would lose with a winch sitting there. Probably varies by style.

Yeah, so the base of the winch sits about 2" or so below the top of the bumper. Is your light bar on the top fo the bumper or lower part?

Tor148, good choice on the brace kit. Once you bend the frame horns they cannot be bent back, they just break from brittle material.

The face plates actually bend back shockingly easy but you're right, the metal will be fatigued. My hunch is Ford wanted them to be weak for crash safety, just another spot to absorb energy.

I like the Ford Performance one for sure, but I can't keep my light bar as it's too tucker up with the grill. I don't want two pod lights on either side (no offence). Plus the ACC would need to be re-located, which I'd prefer to avoid. Just looking at various options.

Mine is a Amazon/Chinese copy, the same as IAG sells, no need to do anything with the ACC, works as it should...

Here are some more of the JCR. I used the two holes up top to mount a pair of Hella 6" lights.

It needs to find a new home since I built myself a custom front bumper.
