Which is Cactus Gray exactly?

Forgive me if this has been covered already. I did search the forums.

I have a build date of 1/16/23 and ordered a BL/SS 2.7 in Cactus Gray (wanted cyber orange but alas, that is no more ). Most of the pictures I have seen online or in videos of this color have appeared grayish (no hue), but I assumed that this was just a hard color to pick up on camera. Then I found this old twitter link from Mike Levine back in Feb '21 saying that the configurator was updated to represent the actual color. Not only has the configurator not been updated since Levine's twitter, but the color he claims is the updated color is a hueless gray.

Can someone who has a bronco in this color (and pref not color blind) comment on the actual color of the vehicle vs what is in the configurator? I still have a chance to change the color and would prefer to switch to area 51 if the cactus gray is actually light gray and not the nice, light seafoam blue in the current configurator.

Hmm, interesting question. I don't think the subtleties of Cactus Gray have ever been debated on here before.

I "used to" own a cg Bronco and to me it has always been concrete gray with no undertones.

Gray with a tinge of green in it. A lot of cacti are green so… name of the color kind of gives it away. Much different from cyber orange. A name that was chosen because “school bus yellow” doesn’t sound cool.

I was split between CG and A51 and settled on CG. No regrets, and I have had a lot of compliments on the color. What color is it? Who knows, lol. I would say it is definitely closer to seafoam blue. It really depends on the light, but it is never that dull light gray color. I have seen it look almost white. There was a video I saw earlier this year with a CG Bronco driving down a road with big shade trees lining it. It changed colors going from sun to shade. I am team CG but the A51 looks great too. I love the CO though, especially on a 2 door. Almost too much orange on a 4 door.

It’s dependent on the light but there is a bit of greenish in the light grey.

It's an awesome grey, but it's lost in the sea of Toyota, Subaru and others. I am much happier with Green but that Cactus grey was much better at hiding scratches and dirt.

Those fender flares definitely make you see green

Probably zero chance of that. It just depends on the light and maybe the eyes.

It’s Grey, the computer shows blue hues but that is not accurate.
