GOAT modes? šŸ¤” Mine doesn't have that. Hell my switch doesn't even say anything....

That's right I remember now I don't have a Bronco yet. Pushing 2 years since my first order was accepted by Ford
Me too . It’s been 891 days since reservation and 695 days since first order date but it has been built just sitting on Ice Mountain (now) waiting for a Train ride. (for 3 weeks)

Eco… does it not give the best gas mileage?
If you have a stick, Eco does nothing (MPG wise)
If you have an automatic Eco affects the shift timing on the transmission.

Because it affects the shift points, it can give you better or worse MPG. In mixed driving with slow and go, or where you are constantly slowing down and accelerating, then Sport will give you better MPG.

Basically, watch your boost gauge. In Eco you can use more boost, because the CPU tries to hold higher gears. And boost kills MPG faster than being in a lower gear.

Really reminds me of driving my old 71 Cutlass with the rocket 350 and four barrel carb. As soon as the back barrels opened up, you could watch the gas gauge move. Same with these turbo engines, as soon as you start using boost, MPG goes down to about 6 MPG for a short time.

I just rolled 3k miles on my 22. I normally drive in Sport, if I don't select stay in sport mode at start up then its Normal. Then while driving I'll notice the lack of throttle response and switch to Sport. I'm still getting around 16.7-16.8 mpg with my 37's.

I'm in sport all the time unless I forget to hit okay.

Not concerned about mileage, just want the zoom.

Been off-road a lot. I’ve used all of the buttons on top of the dash but never used a ā€œgoat modeā€ other than normal.

Sport mode almost exclusively, unless off-road, because I prefer a more sensitive throttle and I get better gas mileage using sport mode. It seems a little over-sensitive when you first try it, because normal mode doesn't have a very linear feel to it, but once used to it... I don't want to go back to the dead pedal feel of normal mode.

Eco/Boost

Economy or Boost (power) ... choose one.

LOL, Their marketing would like you to think you are getting both, and you are, just never at the same time.

I've never twisted the dial, nor paid any attention to what mode I'm in for 16K miles. So I guess it's whatever the default is. I put it in whatever gear I want it in and give it as much gas as I want it to have. I know when I need 4WD and when I don't. I'd have been happy to not have any if it simplified the electronics.

Had icy roads with some clear areas yesterday. Tried slippery mode but ended up switching between 2h and 4A in eco mode. Seemed good for quick switching between different conditions.

On-road: Sport + Sprint Booster at Sport 8 + Panda at 7 with 93. I’m not an aggressive driver - it’s just fun as well with the manual and the BD gearing. I went back to stock the other day and there is such a huge difference. 18 MPG at 18k miles.

Off-road: Normal + Sprint Booster lower or off depending on terrain + Panda doesn’t really matter much because it’s only effecting boost (but, I’ll turn it off if I remember to).
