We have a couple heavy ebikes that we carry in the receiver on our Wildtrack. I put an extension on the Bronco, but I still cannot access the rear cargo area even with the rack tilted down. I am looking at a swing away bike rack now, but want to verify that one will work with the spare tire. What are you guys using and does it work?

Kuat Pivot V3 works for two on trays. Going any bigger and I'd get the XD.

Kuat is a great company, fantastic products and support if you need it. Swing out to driver or passenger side and detents at 90* and 120* just like factory tailgate.

I have used Northshore racks and Kuat tray racks.

I don't carry bikes since I'm not a masochist, but I do use one of those Kuat pivoting thingies for my cargo carrier/camp box.

It can swing either way (not judging), clears the spare and is solid. It has a nice internal tensioner so it doesn't rattle around like your neighbors 33 year old lawnmower.
