Nice, I keep my boat in storage down the street from the lake too. Why put added stress on your vehicle?

I'm not happy with the tow # on the bronco. I believe its due to the brakes and the fact that they will be offing 35s factory. 31-32s vs 35s is a big deal when you start talking about brakes.

I max my 98 jeep out but, On a pubic place I will say I want do that to the Bronco but I will say I would like to be able to carry a 7k boat to the lake.

Yeah. I don't see why the 4 door can't do 5000, even with 35's. My 79 has been doing it for years (including 35's), and 4 door specs overall are not that much different.

I don't have anything to tow, but eventually I may get a small 2-person pop-up camper or something along those lines. The 3500 tow rating should be more than I'll ever need - if I ever need it at all.

Edit: Our travel trailer is 4000lbs dry and pushing its 5400lbs GVWR when loaded for the family to go camping, but when hunting it only has a half tank of water and a bit of gear in it. If the Bronco was rated for even 4500lbs I think I'd pull it down the highway then hook it to my buddy's truck at his place to head into the bush with both vehicles.

To think the mighty Bronco can be outdone by a Kia...

35s are on the Sasquatch package. Knock the TC down to 3500lbs with that package. Simple. It also has the extreme off-road suspension which is probably more limiting than the tire size anyways.

Well, if Ford doesnt increase the towing of the 4door at least to 5,000lbs then the Badlands Sasquatch my wife was planning to get wont be towing anything because we wont be getting a Bronco if thats the case which sucks. Camper weighs 3400lbs loaded.

A lot of wishful thinking in here. 3500 tow rating is what you should expect. That's the same as the Wrangler. It can't tow as much as a Ranger....The suspension is softer.
