Some Squatch shock takeoffs would be the safest way to lift your rig, but dont discount spacers or preload collars. Plenty of people run with those setups with no issues. If youre not going to beat on it, a small spacer or leveling kit should fit the bill.

For what it's worth, I'm running 1.5" spacers on my Badlands, and I havent had any issues with it yet.

I have an OBX Non-Squatch(Mall Crawler as some would say) so far adding the Wildtrak 35's, rock rails with steps, and Modular front bumper. This weekend/upcoming week I am installing a set of Bilsteins(off a Badlands) along with the Front leveling kit due to the added weight up front from the Modular Front Bumper/Bash Plate. This should complete the look that I am going for then I just need to get either take off Gearing(thinking 4.46 non-locker due to assumed take off availability) or bring it to a shop and have gearing installed cause it is a bit sluggish off the line(2.3L). The Ford Performance tune really woke it up, but still could use a little more help. If you have any questions or need any pictures of anything just let me know and I'll try and help!

Thanks for all the info. I think I am going to try and go with bilstein 5100 upgrade. From what I read last night you can reuse your coils. Mine is going to be a mall crawler, so I think that will give me the look I am after, but also give some suspension upgrade at the same time. I have the 2.7, so hoping not to have to regear. I'm sure it will change the performance some, but hopefully not too bad.

Does $1500 for 5100 Bilstein shocks plus install sound right? Guy at the offroad shop also said he has done some of the new M1 rough country coil overs and had good luck with them. He said rough country didn't have the best quality in the past, but the new m1 is a good product. the rough country coil overs are $899 plus install, which comes out to $1500 as well.
