What got moved from my rear view mirror?

Went to tap power from my rear view mirror on my new 25 and it no longer has power like my 23 BB. What was removed from the mirror?

There are 2 different mirrors depending on year, model and package.
If you don’t have auto dimming, you won’t have power going to it.

auto dim which seems to be available only on MY25 outer banks and raptor trims

Interesting change for the MY25 and complete removal for MY26 it looks like. Chalk it up to one more thing I had on my 23 BB but had to go BL to get in MY25. But, I guess this one I actually didn't even know I had after three years so probably not a big deal!

I don't think that's an MY25 change, Neither of my stripper BadLands (21 and 22) had an auto dimming mirror....

when i checked the MY25 order guide, the auto dim mirror was only available on MID and higher only on the outer banks and raptor. it was no longer available in any package for any other trims

You're right not available in the Badlands anymore at all..

But you can get lighted vanity mirrors, That's just silly....

Auto dimming feature was removed for 2026 on some models.

that, the soft top window, and the wolfox mirror all equate to no need for dimming

To be clear, it was offered in the 25 Badlands for the first half of the year (Job 1) but removed for the second half of production year (Job 2). I have an earlier '25 Badlands, and it does have the auto-dimming mirror.

So I guess the question now is where to run my radar detector tap. Anyone have diagrams for behind the cover at the mirror?
