Have you road tested the headliner yet? How's the road noise? I have one, just havent installed it yet until my summer road trip next month. And the Dirty Dog Headliner!
Awesome, looks like Ophir pass is open! Heading there in a few days.Ophir Pass Summit near Silverton, CO.
Itβs noticeably quieter just around town <55mph. I have to log some freeway miles tomorrow and will report back. Road/wind noise was my primary interest for the headliner. I can only turn my 6 speaker/subwoofer delete radio up so much before that sounds annoying too lolHave you road tested the headliner yet? How's the road noise? Great! Yeah, I ended up upgrading the speakers to drown out some of the lower speed noise. With a 1000 mile interstate road trip ahead, needed something more robust without blowing out my kids eardrums lol.Itβs noticeably quieter just around town <55mph. I fixed my light position. I used a 2 dollar powdercoated right angle bracket from Lowes and hung my light from the rear hitch harness bracket instead of using the chain holes. I grounded it to the exhaust hangar bolt.Added rear diodedynamics lights. It was a pain to find the location of E aux wire and power it but much better than running wire altogether.
I'd like to use the regular brackets but I haven't brainstormed a good setup that includes the six inch lightbars I already have with a SC1 or SC2 within the pocket. Also since I have an Everglades I almost gave up on two ditch lights. I have an SC2. Ill need to brainstorm more.those links are for reverse brackets
Your light bar isnβt installed right in your bumper it shouldnβt stick out like that you should use our brackets - and I donβt know if you candor an SS6 and an SC1 one - at that point you should just do a full triple fog kit
Did you see another large group camping when you were there? They would have been a mix of other vehicles (no Broncos that I'm aware of). It would have been the Venture Unknown group as they were hosting their annual Peaks2Shore trip. They start in the mountains running trails and meander across the state to Cape Lookout.Cape Lookout, NC three night camping trip. Only accessible by ferry and 4X4. Caught some sheepβs head and black bass spear fishing. Ate surf and turf that night, like a $100 plate at a good seafood place.
I slept in the Bronco on my deep sleep mats.
