What changes need to be made for 35s

I want a good look and performance for my value so I am thinking of being conservative with an upgrade to 35” tires and new wheels when my stock ones need to be changed. Will I need to do a lift to accommodate 35s? What performance issues will I face? Will I have to remove the frame extensions on the front?

Yep, yep & yep. 2" lift (multiple ways to do it), will need to recalculate the speedometer (forscan) and remove or better yet, replace crash bars with slim ones.

Slim crash bars. Never heard of that. Can you provide more info?

Just depends on how OCD you want to be and/or how much you want to spend. A Level kit/spacer would likely be the cheapest and all that is doing is raising the front so you can steer the new taller tire without too much rubbing at low speeds.

Next, and my favorite choice, would just be taller shocks all around, which would do everything the level does plus improve the ride likely articulation on the trails. This option you would get to pick the height on all the different models shocks too. Any where from 1-3.5 inches I think.

Where the tall shocks would retain/re-install the OEM springs other will say do a coil over set up for the best results since its all contained and provides more control and adjustability.

Within all those choices there are also more things to do if you are getting serious about your alignment, ride quality and off road capability. there are also upper control arms, tie rods and other factors. All just depends on what you want to accomplish and what you want to spend.
