What Bronco Trim / Package ?

For me, I keep my vehicle til it dies and a BaseSquatch fit me just fine.

Since I bought my Bronco specifically to drive off road, a 2-door Base Sasquatch with almost no other options best meets my needs. I don't care what anybody else thinks when I'm driving it, I got it for what it can do, and it has taken me to a bunch of interesting places. I didn't get the choice of manual or automatic for my 2021, but I now feel that the 10-speed automatic is the way to go. And the 4-cylinder has plenty of power. I have never once wished I had more power.

The 2025 Big Bend with the Black Diamond Package gives you 4A and a locking rear differential. I also got a hard top and the 10s-speed automatic. The 25's are quieter and ride better. I have no idea why. I just bought Form Lighting's LED tail lights to make up for the fact that the Big Bend comes with Halogen's (Ford should be ashamed of that).

1. Sasquatch would be good, but overkill for what you describe.
2. Badlands non Sasquatch is probably the 'best' Bronco model
3. If I wanted a four door I'd get a Big Bend Black Diamond (disregarding #2 above) because I'm cheap
2.3L is great.

if ya are not planning any off roading, get a non Sasquatch outer banks with lux and throw whatever wheels and tires on it ya like…enjoy!

I am the current owner of a 2022 Bronco Sport Outer Banks. I have been wanting to trade in for a while and finally ready to pull the trigger.

I am going to test dirve a few this weekend but wanted some opinions or comments beforeI decide.

1. I really like the rugged look and find the sasquatch package really suits the car well. Is it worth to get this package or should i consider modifing the tires post purchase. I wont be off roading by anymeans but the occasional camping trip or adventure.

2. Is there a specific trim level that is the best? I will be using this for my very short commute to work and weekend trips across california with my boyfriend.

3. Last, any year reccomendation? I am leaning towards the 2024 or 2025 since i plan to have this car forever and would rather bite the bullet and spend the money to have the newest

Also some specifics I am in northern california and will be doing a hard top.

Here's my perspective; I have a Base Sasquatch, and a Badlands non-Sasquatch, both 2025. I also looked at the 2024s prior to buying these.
- Sasquatch is not needed for mild off road like camping. Even without the Sasquatch package, you can easily off-road in some fairly rough terrain, especially if your build includes lockers. It does look good though with the bigger tires. Sasquatch does not ride any smoother on pavement.
- OEM Sasquatch tires are louder than non-SAS. Or course you can always change tires.
- My Badlands is much quieter due to several things: 1. The hard top. Look for the one with the white interior panels. Avoid the MIC top with the black interior felt panels. 2. Seats. For the Badlands I went with leather-trimmed seats, and I think that contributes a bit to the lower noise (more mass). Also they are super comfortable on long trips. 3. Bash plates (skid plates). No proof, but I suspect the added mass underneath may contribute to lower noise.
- The Base trim is really basic, and I would avoid it considering you mention road trips. Any other trim level lets you choose more 'comfort' options, or has them standard.
- Consider a 2-door. Both mine are 4-door, but I would trade one for a 2dr, which has longer doors and a bigger front opening. The 4dr has shorter doors. During the first week, I bashed my head, shoulder and back while getting in/out (I'm 6-1). Sit in both, and have you and your boyfriend get in and out to see which fits better.
- Both of mine are the 2.3L with MT. I can absolutely recommend the 2.3, it has lots of power, gets good mileage, and is easier to work on than the 2.7 in my opinion.
- Get a 2025, especially if you do get the 2.3L, because it has the newer version of 2.3 engine. The 2025s also have a much better cluster display, although it's not great by any means... but the display on the 2024 is just, well, yuck.

Whatever you choose, I'm sure you'll really like it.
