What’s wrong with this picture? Help

Ok, 2-door is getting the Icon 3” level kit soon. I have ordered the Mickey Thompson Baja AT 37x12.50x17’s and am close to ordering the Fifteen52 turboMac black rims to go with. I saw this bronco today at the dealer and am not a fan of how tall and skinny these 37’s look.

the new rims would be 17x8.5. I’m wondering if the stock ones are not 8.5 or maybe it’s the tires. Or maybe it’s the fender delete that’s not sitting with me. Any thoughts?

WT’s come with 8.5’s. I think the tires look fine, but I’m not a fan of fender deletes, and I think that’s what’s throwing you off. Even non-Sas flares would look better than none at all…

It would be. The 8.5 is minimum for the 12.5 width.

nothing wrong with a 37-12.50-17. They perform great and have a lot of tires to choose from and that keeps prices down.

it’s just that our eyes play tricks on us and a 33-12.50 has a super wide look because of the ratio between the height and width. A 35-12.50 looks the most proportionate to my eye.

that puts the 37-12.50 a little on the pizza cutter side of things.

none of this really matters if you are going for performance. In fact, some of the pizza cutter size set ups I have run in the past are the best performing. I think it was a 35x 10.50 that was great at everything I threw at it.

IMPO: The fender deletes are never a good choice for the proportions of the 6Gen Bronco.

I’ll second the comment above about tall skinny profiles being advantageous in many scenarios.

I’m gonna go with the TurboMac wheels and call it good. I actually like my WT fenders, plus I don’t want to repaint the exterior…

What’s wrong with this picture? Help

The bumper sticks out past the body, the fender liner hangs down past the lip, the deletes have exposed silver screws, and having no flare makes the 4DR look even more like a Ford Flex without 37+ tires on it.
