The only idiocy I have noticed on my BD so far (other than poorly attached electricians tape in multiple locations) is a missing rear tow hook. My dealer shipped me the extra two hook quickly. They are 300 miles away so I installed it myself.

Isn’t every major part VIN etched/marked somewhere these days?
