Wouldn't have cost you anything to keep your hat in the ring (build in the system). And being a year old with only two constraints you were probably high on your dealers list to get pulled. But hey, you freed up a couple of constraints for other people so good on you.

And before someone else says it, this isn't an airport so there is no need to announce your departure.

Oh, and you posted this in the BRaptor subforum...

Edit. And to cancel a BL-Squatch build is just plain dumb, especially one with high package. Drop Squatch and MIC and you save $4785. Add to that the $2500 rebate and thats $7285 in your pocket. Enough to buy a ADV or other aftermarket hardtop + some Squatch take-offs and you are right back to your original build. Sell your soft top and BL takeoffs and you probably come out ahead on the deal. Plus you are guaranteed to get a VIN this year. Oh well, you sure showed 'em.

Well, that post didn't turn out like you thought. Pretty hard to find sympathy in this crowd with what we have all been through.
yeah, no worries wasn't looking for sympathy. just wanted to vent and see if anybody else felt like me. Probably just a bunch of old grumpy men sitting on a forum.

I feel even worse for people have been waiting even longer than me. You're probably right just so frustrating with Ford but Hey what you gonna do. I'll get one eventually 🤷‍♂️

Mainly all I care about at this point is my Ford stock price. So I'm mad you gave up, you should have "stayed pumped" because it's "worth the wait". ;)

Sorry, look on lots maybe. I got screwed out of my FE and just waited and got a used one. I'm sure I'll be just as happy when I finally get it back from the dealer where it's been for two weeks waiting for a replacement part.

Probably because she's a normal person. I told my wife some people on 6G are buying two, three or even four new Broncos, like one for each family member ... and she asked what kind of strange people are on that site, lol.

Unfortunately, that is the manufacturing world we are currently dealing with. Supply Chain is a huge problem effecting all sorts of industries. My son works for one of the largest international logistics companies in the world, over 18,000 employees world wide. I can regale you with stories of issues involving American Transaxle, John Deer, ZF transmission, Mercedes Benz, Addidas, .... Ford is not alone. It would be rare if you are not having or have had supply chain problems in the global world we now live in.

I feel for you and anyone who's spent time on that Ford wait list.

I agree. I'm not sure why people are cancelling. You're only helping Ford and the dealer by giving back. That truck is still on order and the dealer will pull it in and sell it (probably over MSRP).

My suggestion for those of you who are done (and I don't blame you):
1. Keep your Bronco on order
2. Go buy whatever you want to replace the Bronco

When it comes in all you have to do is say "nah, no thanks" Or maybe you might be in a position where you want it. Just completely forget you have one on order. Of course if you decline it, the dealer will still sell it.

PS - If you are putting money down for an order, you're getting taken to the bank. I never put a dime up front and still got mine. (OG Reservations are different, there was no way around the hundo deposit)

My two cents

If you have not officially canceled, go talk to your dealer, if they are like mine, they will have allocations for these constraints. Also, because you are badlands, drop the SAS, do a 2 inch lift, and your SAS essentially. Good luck.
