I guess this should be an intro since I haven't posted yet but not a noob so I skipped it. We have been wheeling in the fam since the old school CORVA and Baker 2 Vegas days including Jeepspeed. Coming out of a highly built Jeep (which we still have many in the barn) i decided to jump into a Bronco, mainly because the Daughter persuaded it. We did alot of home work and decided to order one with all the specs we wanted. At 1st we were stuck on a Wild but chose the Badlands sasquatch with H3.0. We knew we wouldn't be crazy whaling but we wouldn't be fire road mall crawling. We knew the ability we wanted and 1st dropped in a Ket of Kings on all 4 corners (not lifted). We added Rock Jock end links and rack support sleeves. We couldn't find a shop that produces good looking bumpers yet like a stubby (cough GenRight) so we thought the best looking was the 4wP high clearance. I gotta say the sensor install it 1 of thee best ive ever seen and work flawlessly!. We covered the crash bar tusks with DV8s covers but found out the light lads do not work with the OE metal bumper, chopped them off. We literally never carry a spare (plug kit and OBA) so we did DV8s delete and added the front hoop for lights to come. We added Rigid pods to the fog pockets on aux 1 and 2 and they are perfect for road light. Because we live in Gabins state we needed a front plate so we did DV8s detachable kit and it didn't block the sensors at all. We found these interior handles on amazonnn unfortunately made in chin but they are stout as heck. We just ordered the GOAT hood decal from Ford because we do get glare so why not a OE GOAT one. We fish quite a bit so my kid bought me these rear seat back covers from amzn and the are awesome velcro is crazy attached (goose gear delete soon) We were going to add ADZ UCAs but found no need for what we needed, ROCKRUNNER, and the OE UCAs do not break. Did the Baxter kit with a wix and full Amsiol with ProLube to luber her up. Obvious more mods to come tune, CAI, maybe AFE pipe (hate the way 6clys sound with pipes but meh maybe). Slapped some Reika wheels and 35s RT Trails and loving it. Anyways heres a couple a pics hope yall enjoy Ask any questions if need be. Have a good weekend Broncytonk Fam.
Welcome to the light side! lol.
I was always a 1st Gen Bronco fan being a Ford guy, but never could afford one so we went through several CJ’s in the 80’s and 90’s and then a Gladiator right before we ordered a bronco. (Our first new vehicle ever). We love this thing to death but for some reason it was easier to beat on the Jeeps without worrying about scratching up the paint etc. OMG the drivability is miles ahead of even a current Jeep. Of course it didn’t bother us when we were in our 20s but now we’re in our 60s and enjoy comfort and not needing 2 separate vehicles for street and trails.

I look forward to your feedback, comparing your new Bronco to your Jeeps in your past. And what’s with the hate we get sometimes? I had a Jeep guy flip us off the other day for no reason other than jealousy maybe I don’t know.

Hahahahah. I never understood the wave thing so I understand the "jeep guy" if you waved but DBAD right.

In my opinion the the difference between a Jeep and. Bronco is like the difference between a wooden wheel wagon (jeep) and the invention of the leaf spring (Bronco)! 😆

And I have to straight you up again.......YOU are NOT the "forum joker". You know what you are? You are the forum Charlie Brown ("why is everybody always picking on me"?).
BTW,....how is that smart wife of yours, and the kid? (I hope he has more mother's genes than yours) LOL.

Wow, very nice rig! enjoy!

Appreciate that. We didnt want to get rid of the front bumper so when we chose the rear we added the front DV8 hoop to flow the lines front and rear. Prefer the more strip down style but this far I like the look.

Monday im going to install the OE GOAT hood decal/wrap than head out to the Sequoias for 2 weeks.

I downloaded the install directions for your bumper but can't see if this is possible or not.
Whats your queation. Install 2 d rings. 2 "shims" 2 "brackets.slide bumper with d attached. Shim left install bracket, same right. If you have sensors remove and install 1 clip per sensor. Sensore orientated as they came out. Remove light for plate install same. Route cable towards pass side. Route into cab (your best way i had my own). Fish through tail gate. Done. Took about an hour. Hardest part was lifting new bumper in place. If doing it alone use a few milk crates with a towel. Im not installing lights I made blank out plates.

No I don’t wave at Jeeps, but some have waved at me, probably by accident lol.

A friend of mine has an offroad shop and one of his guys with little man syndrome laughed and made fun of me for trading our Gladiator for a Bronco. I resisted punching him in the throat.

The one thing Jeeps do better than Broncos is only done maybe 1% of the time…. For most owners it’s never done.

Coming from a Jeep fam and still having Jeeps, Jeeps do nothing better except Death Wobble down the road!
