Finished the led letters. Decided not to do the blue. Also bypassed the start up box that flashes the letters for 10 seconds.

It’s OBX = Outer Banks
NC = North Carolina. Not sure a dictionary would do anything there

Blue yes , red , if it's not flashing I think it's ok. Emergency uses a clear or red clear lens and red LEDs with rotation. It's a bit different than that. We will see.

Well I showed them to the local authorities and they said it was fine but at the discretion of the officer. Worst case scenario , I put back bronco all in white. Either way , I have quick disconnects installed , I can yank the power to it in like 20 seconds or less. I got them off Amazon , they are good quality , the R is not however and they give you a X in red to replace the R with. So its BXONCO.
