So I purchased a Trigger 4 for my outer banks. Looking at it now and there’s a Yellow “trigger” wire along with a positive and negative. It says to connect it to a switched source to keep it from staying energized all the time.
For anyone that has used one, or something similar, what did you wire it to? Something in the fuse box? Tap a wire under the hood somewhere? Thanks!

Most folks will run an add-a-tap to the fuse box. I used the 360 Camera fuse under the hood for my setup (#22).

Got ya! I’ve never actually used one. The idea makes sense though.

Actually, I have another question since I'm obviously a newb at electrical. I'm going to be running 2 Baja Designs Squadron Sport ditch lights. Please correct me if I'm wrong. According to Baja Designs they draw 26 watts each, so that's a total of 52 watts. Divided that by 12.5 and got 4.16 amps. Their documentation says 2amps each. Is it as simple as 2+2=4?

So, is it safe to assume that the 10-amp location on the switch box would be fine to run 2 lights? I have the option for 10 or 30 amps.

10-amp channel would work no problem!
