I made my own table mount for under my trmr rack. Cost me about $40 a couple hours, and holds a cheap lifetime table from Costco. Maybe not as cool with the latches and sliding gear there, but I’m all in for around $60.

that said, if this was available 8 months ago, I would probably have went this route.

I'd like some details on how you did that. I have my ideas but I can easily over (or under) engineer something by thinking about it too hard.

I see the bottom of the table is pointing up when stored. What keeps rain water from pooling in it and then coming down on you when you pull it out? Can you flip it around so the top of the table is up or will the legs staying folded become an issue?
From our testing, the legs are intended to be facing up to minimize any noise. We assume most users will be adding this to their roof rack that already has stuff up top blocking a lot of direct rain fall or water being added to the table, worst case you can modify or add drain holes to the table for your use case. You can also flip the table if you want but again, it is intended for the legs to be facing up.

I found this when doing a little more research.

Unfortunately I will have to pass on this as it doesn’t look like it would work with standard roof top tent mounts and the water issue that was brought up
It is intended to mount underneath your roof rack in what is usually dead space on your rack!

I’m a fan. I have a 23zero shower tent attached to the back of my TRMR, so this couldn’t slide out that way. Any ideas? I don’t like having my shower/bathroom back there, but don’t know how to mount it elsewhere as I’ve got a SkyCamp 2.0 that overhangs my rack on both sides.
Our CS team can help give some pointers but really it may require offsetting the tent to one side, getting some of our 90 degree brackets to mount the shower on the side of the vehicle to gain access to the table slide for the rear of the vehicle.

I need this with my trailrax roof rack. Would the table and mount interfere with my quick detach roam case mounts on the back of roof rack?
Nope it shouldn't all mounting of the table slide uses the sides and bottom of the crossmembers, From our knowledge the roam boxes use the top of the crossmembers.

Half Rack compatibility?
Price is a bit ouch, but so is the way of the world right now it seems.
Our table slide is the most affordable option on the market, the table is definitely a higher cost coming from Alucab but it is well worth it, the tariffs on them do not help, hence why we are looking to design our own here soon but even then the cost may be around that because we are going to make this in the USA.

The table slide will not work on the Half Rack models. The half rack is too short.

2 pieces of angle iron welded up into a z shape, holes drilled to mount to the cross bars, and a ratchet strap looped around from the front of the truck to the back to keep it off the roof and locked up top so people behind me on the freeway don’t die.

And I have a 2 door.

This is pretty cool! I don't even have a rack yet, but I like it.
Appreciate it! Let us know if you have any questions on our products, we are happy to help you get the set up you are looking for when you are ready.

Only issue is that the 90 degree brackets require clear vertical space above the side of the rack. The ikamper overhangs the sides by about 4-6 inches on both sides of the rack.

Water also collects inside the outer enclosed frame of the table if you mount it as you have shown. You'd have to drill several holes in key areas to ensure no water pooling occurs. Personally would not drill a hole.

Is your latch lockable? Why not take advantage of the table's built in latch + lock system?

Are there any other reasons, aside of potential wind noise, you should not flip the table with legs facing down?

Appreciate the fact you guys continue to come out with functional accessories. This has been high on my wish list as my current bracket setup isn't cutting it.

Now available!

We have been working on this for 2 years and those who follow us and know, have been chomping at the bit to get this product! We have tested many different revisions and designs that all accomplish our mission but we were never happy with it and it never felt perfect, until this one. This Table slide we have designed was designed from the ground up and now uses a completely proprietary extrusion profile that allows us to accomplish a 1.49" profile table slide that is designed to fit with our roof rack and similar roof racks that utilize 1020/ 80/20 style roof rack with those extrusions. We spent tons of hours working on making this a universal part to work for not just overlanders but for those who like the use of a table for their activities.

The table we used was specifically chosen due to a few factors. One, the table's profile, it is 29mm or just about an inch of profile which is one of the slimmest we can find available. Two, price and quality, at the price point when we were looking at it ($379.00 but now $439.00 due to tariffs) was as affordable as we can find for the high quality. Yes the table is not super cheap but from all of our testing, this table truly fits the bill for what we are looking for BUT we are exploring the options of making an American made table that fits the same profile. Three, table availability throughout the world, Alu Cab is well known throughout the whole world with dealers everywhere even in the USA, this allows us to just sell you the table slide and you pick up the table at your local Alu Cab dealer allowing you to save on shipping and have support if it is ever needed on the table, locally.

Something we wanted to focus on and take our products to the next level was to think "first out, last in". For those who know and have played tetris in organizing their gear in their trunk or bed know what we mean when we say this. Our focus was to allow you to have a table that was the first thing out of your vehicle to offer you a clean platform to unpack your gear onto the table AND also not have to dump your gear onto the ground so that you can put your table in your truck first because that is just "how it fits best in there". Now with this product, you can be "first out, last in". The table can come out first and be that platform to unpack but also be the last to put away in the vehicle so your gear stays off the ground.

Let us know if you have any questions! https://trailrax.com/products/table-slide

Too much dinero. There are better options available that are more compact and a minor inconvenience to set up.

Pricey, but I'd say it's worth it. Great way to make use of vacant space.
Does this work with the older TRMR cross members?

On that note, is it still possible to exchange the older cross members for the newer ones?
