I don't know about 2017 Raptors but our dealer offered us 15K over what we paid for our 2020 Raptor new and it has 30K miles on it now...I immediately came home and searched cars.com and was blown away what the 2020 Raptors are going for!

If you are very independently wealthy and have gobs of money to spare, sure do it. Give someone else that has had good connections with a dealer to get a First Edition so fast free money.

If not, it's not a wise move to give money away.

Oh, hell no. Not a chance. I wouldn’t pay double just out of principal. Id also tell that dealer he’s a scumbag. Blows my mind that they can tell someone to their face “we are going to charge you double.”

The only way it would come close to making sense is if you could make significant revenue by obtaining the Bronco earlier.

For example, if you have a YouTube channel that routinely gets hundreds of thousands of views and have a giveaway company that gives you a chance to win the Bronco with the purchase of merchandise sold at a high profit margin.

That said, even the people who do have similar successful businesses like Mike from StreetSpeed717 seem to have decided to wait for their order instead of massively overpaying to get the Bronco earlier.
