Ford Racing is the heritage Ford wants everyone to remember. Ya know, GT40s giving Ferrari belt to ass. Ford Racing is a better name anyway in my book. Who cares if it’s not “inclusive” like everyone is saying lol I just want to see Ford kick ass in everything they compete in and put out some awesome vehicles

What the hell do I do with this now?!

I might buy it if the logo wasn’t so darn big, maybe the “Ford Racing” version will accommodate and be aluminum 🤔

This is a boondoggle. A waste of time and money to change branding that no one cares about except upper management.

the costs to make these changes will be passed on to Ford customers. I really hate shit like this.

Ford Performance sounded better. Conceptually, Ford Performance extended an arm around a larger number of Ford owners (cars and trucks) and said, "hey, you too can modify / improve the performance of your vehicle even if it's your daily driver/grocery getter". It was sort of an aspirational thing that a lot of Ford owners could lean into. Not for nothing, it enabled Ford to sell a greater number of performance parts and accessories for a larger number of models.

While pivoting to the branding of Ford Racing communicates the message that Ford MoCo is all in on racing, does it mean Ford MoCo will dial back performance parts and walk away from the owners of regular cars and trucks looking to upgrade some performance aspect of their daily driver? It will be interesting to see how this re-branding will turn out.

I believe Ford racing was formed around the idea that you could go in to a dealer and build the power train that their racers use off of a dealers shelf.

Put up or shut up.

Stop strangling the 2 door Bronco line to 4 cylinders unless you buy an overpriced sticker/paint package with a 2.7 that existed years before, except we call it a Stroppe now. Pay the respect it deserves. Be innovative. Make it worth your ask.

Offer larger engine displacements across the board. Things like a 3.0 6cyl, 3.5 6cyl or the elusive 5.0L.

Make the ProCal actually functional out of the box when you do a steering rack upgrade, instead of having to fight with FP tech support to make it work. And how about a steering rack upgrade that is compatible with non-SAS Badlands since you can order one from the factory since 24. Yes, there are hacks and I’m grateful but this dumb ass approach is beyond backwards.

I could give 2 shits about the name used so much as the end result matches. So yeah, call it whatever you want but put up or shut up.
