Starting my research. I don't think I am ready for a full upgrade like the Willwoods and there are only a few options out there. Whether I spring for slotted rotors is up in the air, I might wait on changing the disks closer to 50k as my current ones are perfectly fine. Currently at 25k miles, but given I run bunch off road, both OEM front/rears are wearing even and have about 1/8th left.

Options soo far as I can discount them both but are both in the same price range:
EBC Yellows - operating temperature range up to 932°F
Hawk LTS - operating temperature range up to 700°F

I've been loving the PowerStop z36 brake upgrades. I pull a camp trailer (it has its own brakes as well, but I try not to cook them) and they've been really solid through the Utah mountains. For off-road, they feel as good on the last obstacle as they did on the first.

They also sell just the pads, if you're looking to keep your rotors for a while.

Problem is PowerStop is no more or I would add those to the list.

I usually recommend Raybestos as a good OEM spec brand, but their parent company went belly up and dragged Raybestos down with them.

When I get ready for my next brake job, I will look at the NAPA Proformer line for the brake parts I need.

You might be thinking StopTech, but PowerStop should still be doing good.
