I'm seeing a lot of folks are very properly and rightly upset about not getting their build. People who have day 1 and day 2 orders! I have found information from talking to my dealer, who was very cool and let me pick his brain for about 15 minutes on how the ordering system works. Also things that have been posted on the forums specifically the FE not being made for all orders fiasco and I would like to put down in one place to maybe help smooth out some insanity with it all. HOWEVER, there is one thing that really can't be tweaked, and that is your dealer's allocation. Ford has changed that for 2022 and really messed things up for a lot of folks. My goal here is to not turn this into a F Ford thread because that only helps our emotions and feeling, but in reality doesn't really help get a bronco. It is an attempt to help anybody who has not gotten a build date yet with some ideas to check or to change, and what to pay attention to when they are posted in the forums. Not claiming to be an expert, but I payed attention to what was being said and come to the conclusions below. I could be wrong, but if you don't have a build what else do you have to lose. I made some changes based on what I was finding and got a build date, so I could be on to something.

I'll start with in my opinion is the most important.

1. Check your priority code with your dealer. I cannot stress this enough. From asking questions from my dealer a priority code of 99 is a DO NOT BUILD code. This essentially means that the dealer is saying that they are not ready for your bronco to be built be for whatever reason. When you talk with your dealer and convert your reservation to an actual order, the dealer needs to MANUALLY change your bronco to a from what I remember a 22 or lower code, it won't automatically change from a 99 when you complete your order, you dealer has to change it. This could be the main reason why you don't have an order yet, check your priority code with your dealer! If anybody know what all the priority codes mean that would be super helpful to post.

2. Pay attention to the commodities constraints when posted! Last post I saw was from October 27th. This is VERY helpful as Ford will only build your bronco if they have all the parts for it. This basically means that whatever option on you have on your bronco needs to be in stock in order for your bronco to be built. Lets say your bronco is next up on your dealer's allocation, but you have the safari bar, they only have enough supplies for 16% of bronco's that have that as an option, so even if ordered a base model with nothing else on it there's a pretty small chance that you will get yours built because they only have enough for 16% of their orders. Or if your Bronco is next up and they have parts for everything but the Lux package you opted for, your Bronco will be skipped over because they don't have parts for it. You will be passed up until ALL of the parts for your bronco are available at the time of scheduling. It's kind of a "Planets must align" kind of situation. Your bronco needs to be up next on your dealers allocation, have the parts for your MIC top, Lux, SAS, 2 door, whatever your options in order to be built. Per the table below there's a certain % chance that comes with every option. If you don't want to compromise, then don't. Just expect to have a possible longer wait. Again, this all means nothing if your priority code is 99.

3. Dealer allocation. Can't really do anything here as Ford changed it up and went away from the first come first server format. Basically the dealers will get their allocation of broncos based on sales figures of stuff. We can't control this part so I'm not going to try to explain it. If somebody else wants to go for it. However, to help get to the front of the line of what allocation your dealer will get, make sure that your priority code is not 99, and that you have options that are in ample supply, and that will help get your bronco build date sooner.

Just wanted to stress that it may not be Ford's fault that you don't have a build date, It could be your dealer not changing the priority code, or that your options are in low supply. However it could also be Ford's fault because the buggered up the allocation as well. I'm not saying the above steps are a guarantee, just my observations. This could all just be a coincidence that once I made some changes and confirmed my priority code that I got a build date. It could have just been my time in the cosmic lottery of bronco allocation, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Uh, yeah, #2 and #3 are Ford’s fault. (They have had 16 months to get the commodities in place for the first day or two of reservations.)

Also, how anyone gets scheduled who ordered a two door a month ago with no reservation is Ford’s fault.

not if their dealer has their priority code at 99, that's on the dealer. That's my main point, everybody is crazy mad at ford and they should be. But have they checked their priority code with their dealer?

Tell me what I'm missing. This is from two days ago. My order as it stands since original order date of 1/20/21 and reorder date 10/13/21. Why can't this get built? Im asking you seasoned vets to help me get this corrected to my dealer. Dont want a 4dr and soft top. I saw more than 10 2dr MICs get picked yesterday. Tell me whats wrong here? @Ford Motor Company Feel free to chime in as well.

You cannot tell me there are no two door Big Bends with an early reservation and within the current month’s allocation at any dealers in priority 10-19 status.

Also, I did not say #1 is Ford’s fault. That would be our fault if we hadn’t bugged the dealer a dozen times to check and called Ford Marketing. And if we were shown and told PC 10-99, then it’s the dealer’s fault.

Perfect example of the crap going on at Ford. No excuse why this isn’t already on its way to your home. We reservation holders are all being treated as suckers.

Could be the case that some dealers mistakenly have 99 coded orders but I would think it's way more likely you weren't 99'd and wanted to be. Dealers want these thing being built and delivered not coded as Do Not Build.

Neither of us can know what priority code folks have on their bronco. ALL IM SAYING is the folks really need to check that and not assume the dealer got it right, because for a lot of folks they didn't.

I'm starting to think that some dealers don't know what they are doing with their orders based on one of the FE issues of orders being 99'd. Just saying folks need to check

Aux switches the new deadly sin!!

Based on your build other than being 2 door you would think it could be built. When was your reservation date? Could have more early reservations ahead of you at your dealer.

not an expert, but according to the commodities post, ford only has enough supplies for 14% of their 2 door orders, plus throw in dealer allocation, they could go through their 14% before they even get to your bronco, or the dealer's allocation has not come up yet.

They had 23 allocated for the drop yesterday.
