Good find on the strut, that is the weakest link by far and previous attempts to provide aftermarket improvements have fallen short. Seems like someone tried it and it wouldn't fit, but I could be mis-remembering. Do you have one of the struts?

No, don't have it. I just saw the link today. But looking at the pictures, everything looks great. And I think it says "We also include steel socket ends and ball." So I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit.
Today is the first i've heard of this strut
