Go put a chip in all the panels.
You won't feel bad about the ONE damaged panel if All the panels are damaged.

Nononono--hire some kids to ding up the car slightly while you sit at the bar and enjoy yourself.

You'll know the damage is there, somewhere, but you won't know where. So it's easy to talk yourself into thinking "it's not really there after all". Until you think of the roof panel--then you'll think "that's OK, it fits in with the rest".
