Superchips - Flashcal - Updated for 2023 Bronco

I had been reading that the FlashCal for the Bronco was not ready for the 2023 rigs yet, however, I did run across one post where someone said it did work. I ordered the Flash Cal (1546) via Amazon with one day delivery. I updated the unit and was able to change the fog lights to always on, disable double horn honk, and adjust TPMS.

I am having 37" tires installed Monday - I will adjust the tire size and see how that goes.

Did you have to download an update for the Flashcal, or did it work out of the box? I won a unit about 6 months ago and it didn't work with my 23...

I updated it as soon as I took it out of the box. Its too Hot in Arizona right now to be taking extra steps that would require me to be out in the Sun more than i have to!

what other options does it offer? seems like ForSCAN does those things pretty easy and cheaper. does the auto start stop go away with this

This what it says on the box... You are correct most, if not all, can be done via forscan.

If Forscan is anything AlfaOBD I use for my Ram, its probably cheaper. With My Ram 3500 I had to buy a security by pass cable, AlfaOBD program, OBD Link, and have a laptop.

Perhaps its slightly cheaper if you have all of those things, this is maybe a little more convenient perhaps.

The Fords must not be locked down like Dodge/Ram -

Tires were supposed to be here today...looks like maybe Wednesday now. So far I have been able to adjust TPMS, set Fogs to on with brights, and eliminate the double horn honk. The Auto/start stop seems to have been eliminated but Haven’t had a chance to drive it enough to verify.

Do you know anything about the Flashpaq upgrade? Cost? Availability for Broncos? Thanks for trying this out on your Bronco...looking at grabbing one of these once I take delivery.

The FlashCal for the Bronco is $199. The updates are free.

So far everything has worked except the disable auto stsrt/stop. I may try to see if there is another update.

New tire size will be on the list later this week.

Just received mine from amazon. i have a 2023 and it worked(Came updated). I was able to turn the horn off when walking away with the keys and updated my tire size to 34's from my 30's. For the tire part I wish it would show somewhere, all it did was tell me its been updated.

I bought the same unit off Amazon and was able to calibrate my 2023 OBX speedometer for 34” tires. It took 3 iterations to dial it in exactly to the GPS. I don’t plan on making any other changes (yet)…
