my buddy put a push button so it would turn on with the hood open. He said it wasn’t to bad just need to set it to the right hight to make sure it turns off when the hood is closed. I might go that route once I need the space in the switch pro.

Been wanting to do this for the extra storage. Have you felt if it gets hot after a drive ? Since you have to remove the oem heat shield. I know it comes with its own that you double side tape to the bottom but wonder if it works as good as the oem one.

Compared to my base model grill I think good. not sure how it’s compared to some of the higher model grills. I had the base grill, so to me it feels better. doesn't feel any cheaper then the base grill

I went with this one, cheaper then IAG. To be honest after all my research IAG over charges for their items. I think a lot of company’s get it from the same factory and choose what they want to see it for. Came package nice and easy to install.
