I'm currently working with a local shop here in Alabama to create a stirrup side step for Bronco's equipped with the factory rock rails. We've got a single working prototype that I'm testing at the moment. Keep in mind when you look at this that it is not in final form, this is more for fleshing out the concept and finding places to improve. With that said I welcome your comments and questions.

How is the mounting for this step? Does it require drilling or is it more of a clamp on style that could be easily removed?
+1

I don’t know the engineering that goes into this, and I’m sure it’s complicated. That being said, a non-removable stirrup is a no-go for me with rock rails. If I wanted permanent steps, I would just buy steps.

I’m not sure if a removable stirrup is possible, but if it is, count me in.

No drilling is required. Can be removed and/or relocated in less than 5 minutes.
