Anyone find a fix for this rear squeak? I’ve got the exact same issue.

FYI, I've had that squeak in 2 Broncos now. First was a 2021 Badlands. Probably started after about 15k miles. I traded that in for a 2023 Bronco Raptor. This time the squeak started around 7k miles.

It was only the rear, passenger side seat of a 4-door, and only when a passenger was in the seat, in both Broncos.

I think I tracked it down to the spring, and/or the metal-on-metal connection of the seat belt receptacle and the bar that the receptacles are attached to. I generously applied some WD-40 to where the receptacles meet that bar and the squeak has now been gone from my Raptor for about 2 weeks or so!

I have definitively found the rear seat squeak and the cause! It seems to be a design defect on the seat belt clasps where the metal from the clasp strap that anchors the clasp to the car rubs the paint off of a bent piece of metal that is designed to prevent the clasp from falling backwards. This results in metal on metal contact and the squeak squeak squeak that we are all familar with. Now we just need ideas on how to deal with it other than oiling it constantly. See the attached video and picture...

New guy here, with a 24 Raptor. Squeaky squeak coming from back seat loud and clear! Tried the SpiritAnimal fix and nothing. Can anyone else please chime in on where you believe the sound is coming from? Thank you all.

This is the exact same noise I ave on my 34 OBX which started at about 10k miles. Only seems to happen when get is sitting back there.

Anyone have a fix for this yet?

FWIW, I first posted about my fix that you quoted back in February of 2024 (about 20 months ago). I have NOT had the squeak return since I applied WD-40 to that seatbelt mounting area back then, and I'm now at 31,000 miles (24k since the squeak), so that did work as a solution for my Bronco.

Git it! Thanks. I’ll give it a shot.
