Not sure if it's possible or not, but it'd be nice to have a sponsor rating system in place - Similar to a Google or YELP review. Simply put, an average customer satisfaction rating, displayed under their avatar.

With a couple recent vendor "concerns" lately, it might help highlight this to others quickly, whether it be tenured members of the forum or brand new ones. This alone could help direct folks to check out the sponsor's sub-forum on B6G and look into their rating in further detail - Whether positive or negative.

This could also be for B6G members who sell an item in the "Marketplace" section - No different than what Facebook Marketplace has in place for buyer/seller ratings.

Just an idea.

It's a good idea in theory, buddy.
However with peoples' propensity to just go through great lengths to be a victim or to seek vindication for any perceived slight, it would could be a slaughterfest of hurt feelings for a lot of people to each other on here.
It could even get as whacky as a competitor rallying up a bunch of new forum identities to spam the competition with fake bad reviews. Kind of like having HEAPS of overtly positive reviews when in actuality your business is quite predatory (sound familiar?).

And none of that is to say there are not actual, very much-entitled victims on this forum. Throw a rock in any direction and you'll graze several.
The negative side of human nature is gonna do what it does and prey on those it can until it can't anymore.
Best we can do as people is do what homework we can, however we can, before plopping down hard-earned cash.
And the best we can do as "older" forum members is do everything we can to help others not make those mistakes.
In the end it's up to the individual whether or not they take heed and see red flags or not.

And I think that's the whole premise behind your suggestion.
