I bought some kicker 4 inch speakers to replace my front and back. I just found some JBL (Stage3 427F) speakers on woot for half the price. I noticed that the kickers are 4ohm, while the JBLs are 3. Wondering if that means the JBLs will not work?

They'll work fine. It's not uncommon for spkr makers to put out 3 (or 3.5) Ohm units for use in 4 Ohm applications to make them appear louder/brighter. Consider that there aren't any mass marketed amp's (of which I'm aware) that are advertising their 3 Ohm capabilities - so that would mean JBL and others would be making speakers with no application.

Thanks! The last time I messed with a car stereo was in 35 years ago on a 70 Nova. :)
