I need some help. I have an OBX non squatch with 2707518 tires. Driving in rain and light mud I am having having spray back onto my doors primarily from the gap between the running board and the end of the wheel lip. I know a mud flap would resolve it but I do not like the look of a mudflap on my vehicle. Is there a product on the market to just cover the gap that attaches like a mudflap? Please advise.

I haven’t seen a product on the market, so I fabricated my own. Made them out of ABS plastic.

Haven’t tested them yet (coincidentally, I just made them yesterday), but I’m headed to Moab this week and can report back on how this solution works.

Back from an amazing trip at Moab. Probably not too surprising that my 'mini' mud flaps were not so effective at keeping the mud off the side...

Granted, we had rain and snow the day of this picture, so there was no lack of material for the tires to sling around. I think I got a little bit more coverage with the flaps, but it looks like they would need to be wider and extend lower in order to truly help.
