Might as well. You've got nothing to lose.

I think saying it "gave up the ghost" might be a bit of a stretch... that looks no worse than my soft top, and I wouldn't say mine is falling apart.

But mine has always looked like a soggy diaper as soon as it gets wet..

Technically, I’m not talking about the soggy diaper look. I actually like that. My concern is that the top “rolled” out the external channel, won’t go back in and when we had snow the other day, it was blowing right into the cabin on the passenger side. Never had so much as a drop of water get in this thing before. I love the soft top, but I’d rather not have snow building up in the passenger side back seat.

Fair enough, hard to tell from the photo and I missed that part in your post (skimmed it, my bad lol)

As others have said, try to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. Worst they can do is say no.

Brand new TSB relating to this exact issue, go look at the PDF. Dealership has to give the tech 11 beers before he’s allowed to start.

And there are 3 photos, ignore the sag photo and look at the two where the top has pulled away, let me know if yours has done that so I have something to go off of.

Ours has always looked like this and has been through 2.5 Minnesota winters. No snow inside yet.

No mine hasn't done that (yet)

Not sure if it's relevant, but I seldomly open my soft top.

Reminds me of WKRP--Johnny on air with a state trooper doing one of those drinking tests, and his reactions got faster the more he consumed...
