Soft top front section latch?

Would like to be able to just flip the front section of my soft top back and have it latch, rather than messing with the Velcro straps. Couldn’t find any Jeep versions of the same thing, anyone ever heard of something similar?

I see where you’re going with this. I can’t think of a solution that doesn’t have a hard part that will stick up. This part would need to fold out of the way when the top is closed and flip into position and retain the front section when flipped back.

I did not get Velcro straps w my bronco soft top. How long are they would u guess?

They were in my glove box with the tool kit. Maybe 8-9”? I can measure after work

I do like how the bottom part of the soft top latches in the full open position, but haven't heard of anything aftermarket for self latching in the first open stage.
The guidance I saw in online how-to videos and at the pre-launch event from Ford all treated the velcro as optional. I only use it off-road. Never had an issue driving on road without velcro. Obviously, don't do any high-speed driving in reverse

I've not used the straps once and I am driving 60-70+ constantly. Don't be silly...just SEND IT!
