Soft Top Care - recommendations for cleaning and protecting?

Any recommendations for cleaning and protecting the soft top? Ease of application, approximate cost and availability.
I live in an apartment and don’t have access to water outside. I must depend on brushless car washes. The rest of the Bronco (paint, tires, wheels, etc.) are well protected. Thanks

Good question. I have cats that love to camp out on top of mine (and a raccoon trying to move in, the bastard). I haven’t done anything special to the cloth other than hit it with soap when I wash the rest of it. Following

I have used the 303 Products Convertible Fabric Top Cleaning and Care Kit since 2021, it does a pretty good job. The water repellent wears off after a couple of months though, not sure is worth the hassle of getting the top completely spotless before you apply it.

If you don't have access to running water outside, honestly I would probably just wipe it down with a bucket of hot water, dawn soap and a microfiber. Extra scrubbing/soaking may be needed for bird poop & sap.

chemical guys convertible soft protector is awesome. I havent done it on the bronco yet but used to use on the FL car. PRice is reasonable and it's a good UV protectant. However, it's a bitch to get off the paint and glass so when you're spraying it, take a piece of cardboard to prevent overspray

While I can appreciate that, and I don't work for or get $ from chem guys, if it's hard to get off smooth surfaces my brains says it gets up in there and stays there on the soft top material.

I actually look forward to my soft top going gray tho
