Am I crazy for wanting to take my Badlands Bronco to this location?

That's in Lockhart basin, its near a trail that goes to the Colorado river overlook. Was no problem getting back there in my Xterra. That entire area and to the south is excellent exploring land.

The monolith is within 2,000 ft of a trail that the bronco should be able to do. A jeep rubicon can do it. Then you walk less then half a mile to the monolith from the road.

Lockhart Basin Road. Is 60 miles long and is listed as a medium difficulty trail.

Not the first trail a beginner should start with, but not a problem for any one with some experience and at least one locker.

looking at Google earth, I thought that looked like a decent trail, but hard to judge how difficult that last little hike would be.

My guess.....it'll be gone before anyone drives off the lot in their new Bronco!
