Searching for a transmission skid that also covers the cross bars (to stop getting hung up on them). Is LOD the only option for a single plate that works with all the OEM skids? That's all I've found that doesn't break the bank and require a full skid package.

I installed the LOD transmission skid. Works fine with the stock skids. Replaces the sway bar skid on the Badlands. A few months it was the only one on the market. I am sure something else has hit the market.

I just ordered the LOD, it's ~$40 on sale and free shipping, didn't know that it was on sale until I was in the checkout.

To clarify - they say this transmission skid does NOT work with OEM stock skid.

Did you have to make any modifications?

Looks like ~12% discount with orders in my box right now on the LOD website BTW

It fit my 21 Badlands 2.7 auto perfect with factory skids. 15 minutes to install no modifications at all. Covers from sway bar to transmission cross member.

LOD mounts to the V6 support bars so make sure you don't have a 4 cylinder or your in for issues.

I have seen the above Bronco in person and would trust the skid, just wish it mounted and covered the transmission cross brace more.

Thanks but I think that's expected. Unlike many other systems, there's comes with the front engine skid so of course you would not be able to put it over top of any existing.

In my case I don't even have one, except maybe that plastic air dam. The only thing I don't like is that I lose my front recovery points because they replace the brackets. However I'll be buying a front winch bumper soon as well and that will have recovery points.
