Siri not working thru the speakers

Never had this issue before. But when I ask Siri to play a text, the music doesn’t stop and Siri goes thru my phone speaker and not on the bronco speakers. So the CarPlay is set up, they are communicating with another but the voice isn’t coming through the bronco speakers. It looked up fixes ans tried them and trouble shot it and nothing g worked.

Not sure if this might work. My car play was working fine but could not hear phone navigation thru speakers and found that somehow the volume was all the way down on nav…..I turned volume up on head unit while nav was speaking and it worked fine. I have since found that volumes can be independently adjusted while coming across speakers. U could try to adjust volume up on head unit while Siri is speaking. Worth a shot
