I like most the design of the 701’s and also the fact it has bead grip technology. The holes and spokes are proportioned right for me.

The one thing that concerns me is it appears there is a slight convex shape to the rim. I was also looking at machined and feel it’s masked a little better in this color but saw some pics of it in black and it seemed more obvious. Thinking back, maybe they just captured a different angle as opposed to color difference.

Either way if you look close I think you can see a minor convex shape in the 701’s. Tried to show it in a markup with red. At the top is an exaggerated side profile. Black representing flat and blue a concave appearance.

While I don’t like the proportions of the spokes and holes as much as the 701’s, the 703’s also come polished and has a slight concave to the rim.

I’m a little torn which I like best as both have opposite features I like. I’d really like a 701 with a little concave effect.

Looks like Cooper STT’s for the rubber but need more details on your wheel tire setup.

If you want to go beadlock and not simulated locks, the KMC Grenade wheels are available polished with polished rings.

That's totally Awesome!!! Back 15 years ago I could of bought one for $30k...too much for me so I bought my mint 85 4 Runner for $6,500...sold it and bought a $56k Badlands...I love my new Bronco but when I see a picture of the older ones I wish I had bought the 30k Bronco...
