Anyone have any dealing with Shopfordparts. I almost pulled the trigger on a full set of used Fox 3.0 shocks. Price seemed reasonable but payment goes to person not a company and making an extra payment to a shipping company. Wasn't sure if selling these parts out of the back their truck. Thanks

I would just keep an eye on the classified, the fox shocks pop up once in awhile, would save you some money!

I know there are a few instagram accounts with names like this that will pop up and show a whole array of "take-off" parts, scam a few people, get reported, get shut down, and then open a new one. When it comes to take off parts, you have better luck with people here on the forum as they are required to include a sign with username and date(though scammers can be here too).

Thanks for your inputs. The set of Fox 3.0 shocks were only listed for 599. seemed too good. Definitely take-off's from wrecked or flooded vehicles. In the end if I can't pronounce the first or last name of seller, not that matters thou, no thanks. I passed on the deal and will keep looking.

Yeah that price would fall under the too good to be true/scam, not the "reasonable price" category.

Sounds like a scam. Any of these "parts" places are scams. Unless it's an actual Fords Parts site it's probably a scam with a name like that.

All those that are reading this thread, another way that sometimes help is to take a screenshot of the picture of the parts the scammer is showing, and do a google image search. More often then not, they grabbed the photo off of facebook classifieds or something similar that will show up when you search the image.
