no they aren’t. Road noise isn’t bad but I’ve never been in a MIC top one. I have no complaints or regrets with the shadow black top.

Thanks for those pics! That does in fact look more than just a coat of white paint being the only difference on the inter structure.

Mine looks the same as ABQ_Bronco1982's and can confirm the back windows do not come out.

One issue I have is that the middle section is not completely flush with the back. I've read that was an issue with the MICs, and I think a fix was put out by Ford. There's no leaking or anything and its relatively minor, so I'm going back and forth about whether I want to take it in.

Any other shadow black or painted hardtop owners seeing similar issues?

Me too I waited from day 2 of order banks until they took away the mod top option for all of us …. Love my 2 door shadow black Bronco but very disappointed no Mod Top!!

my only issue is I had to order it with the additional soft top. So it was like $1800 from the dealer. Now I have a soft top taking up room in my garage I’ll never use.

Unfortunately they even discontinued the removable windows for job 2 of 24 on the HE.

I was hoping they'd keep the removable back windows on this top, like the HE's had. Oh well.....

I had a ‘21 Wildtrak on order with the shadow black top and was forced to lose it given all the top issues. Ordered on in ‘24 with the top but the price increases and low trade in value prohibit this move.

maybe I’m just bitter, but I actually don’t like the gloss black top or fender flares. They take all the rugged look away, and idk why but it just reminds me of a glossy candy apple.

I just wish the MIC flares and top were actually black.

For off road looks I like the original. If you want a road looking vehicle, the black top with 18 or 19 inch wheels like the Jeep Sahara gives the look - or body colored top. IMO, the MIC with the carbon/satin gray/black trim plastics gives an off road look. Plus, they would seem to do better with scratches and scuffs off road - especially compared to body color paint tops/fender flares in regards to replacement cost.

Wow, I must be in the minority here with not digging the new tops.......weird too, as the inside of it looks exactly like my 2024 Jeep Willys top, including the headliner/deadening liners! Wonder if they switched to the Jeep vendor to make these......

I like it... But that might also be because our Jeep has the color match top and it's a very premium look. This is close.

agreed. Unfortunately I am one of those mall crawler type Bronco owners lol.

I am went with it as I feel it will stand up to the NM Sun better then the MIC.
