Searching and searching for a compatible winch

All, I assume this answer is out there somewhere, but I am not finding it. I have been looking in the forums and general internet searching for hours. So, figured I would post and see if anyone can point me to the answer...I apologize if I have just missed it.
We have a Badlands | 2DR | Race Red | 2.7L | LUX | MGV | Sasquatch.
We want to put on a front winch, nothing special, just something small, capable enough of pulling it out of a snow bank or ditch. We have a Raptor coming and will go far bigger on that, probably replace the bumper, etc. But, on this one, quick and simple without disturbing the current OEM and features.
I know the 2.7L creates some spacing issues.
I know the Lux with parking sensors and adaptive cruise creates some issues.
The front camera can be a problem.

I have found some contradictory posts - like on the RC Hidden Winch Mount, which I would take.
In their list of compatible vehicles, it lists ours

But, then you go to the tech notes on the same page, and it says, Will NOT work on 2.7L models

So, I am reaching out - Has anyone heard of an answer to this, or, better yet, actually tackled the project successfully?

People have made the hidden winch install possible on the 2.7. However, it requires some cutting and relocating of components that I just wasn't prepared to do. This video is one I watched that helped me make the determination that I was just going to do a regular bolt-on winch plate instead.

Thanks for the response. I agree with you, even if I wanted to tackle that job, I am not comfortable moving "engine" parts around.
Which bolt-on winch system did you use? I quickly looked at a few but ran into the problem of them covering the sensors or front camera.

Relocating the camera is simple & there are a few companies now that offer a solution. Parking sensors are also simple to switch over in a provisioned bumper. There are also solutions for moving the adaptive cruise but I have no experience with that. The important thing is to get a quality mount that you like and a quality winch.

I have a 4-door badlands sasquatch 2.7 L. Here is my setup. The front camera, parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control still work flawlessly.

Update: With this setup, the ACC unit will not have to be relocated.

I have a Capable bumper and bought the JCR winch plate to go on it. I was looking at the RC hidden winch, but figured it was too much work for the gain. JCR Winch Plate

Yes the RC Hidden Winch Mount works with the 2.7. RC has detailed instructions to install it. You're not moving "engine" parts around. It's a heat exchanger that gets flipped over with a supplied bracket. You also have to cut off a few un-needed brackets but it's no big deal with a Sawsall.

It is by far the cheapest solution. Also, just about every other option and you're going to be moving the ACC sensor or blocking the camera.

The JCR (non-hidden) winch doesn't require that you move the ACC sensor. You do have to move the parking sensors and the camera though. JCR supplies the brackets and mounts for them.

JRC winch plate.......effectively bolt on and works without relocation of ACC unit. They have a front camera relocation kit available as well. I research the piss out of everything and I think the JRC is most cost effective and least amount of work. I see someone else suggested this as well and provided a link.

I sent the following email to my installer to ensure the install went smoothly. You may want to do the same - it cannot hurt.

I linked a video down below. In the video they secure the JCR winch mount to the same Bronco stock "modular bumper" that I have. I listed timestamps to key parts of the video. It's important to be very careful while cutting into the wire looms and to not cut too deep. Also need to re-loom any wires that get exposed.

There is a little washer hose that sprays water over the front camera to clean it - need to ensure that it works properly after installing the winch.

Man.... I was considering the RC High Winch Mount but I didn't like how it blocks "BRONCO" so I went with the JCR winch. But, the RC winch mount seems to decrease the approach angle less than the JCR winch mount.

Oh well.

All, Thanks for great info.
Seems the best choices are the JRC or RC high mount bumper mounted winch - less to move around, but is external on the front.
Or, the RC Hidden winch, but, have to deal with moving the oil cooler, cutting some mounts off the frame and minor sensor work.

We will think about it, then tackle it. THANKS AGAIN!

Question for those who have the JRC plate installed. Maybe I should put crazy before "question".

I don't want my winch full-time. If I used properly rated disconnects on the winch by the plate, how hard is it to remove just the plate that holds the winch when not in use? Would using good cotter pins to forgo the 3 bolts on each side be sufficient? Not planning major winch needs but would like to have one. This would remove the requirement for me to move sensors/cameras because it would be on only during off-roading.

Edit: I did ask the question on JRCs site about a week or so ago with no response yet.
