Yep, that would absolutely work with the external relays, I'm just trying to avoid the rat's nest of wires I had in my old JK and really use a "1 box solution"

The other box I posted about had relays for 30 amp circuits.

Not waterproof though - the goldilocks box has 6 fused circuits with 30a relays for each, is waterproof, and actually fits somewhere in the Bronco engine compartment.

This other one was waterproof though:

It was solid built, just missing a terminal block to clean it all up but other than that I liked the feel of it. Smaller than the 20 amp one as well.

Has anyone installed either of them? If so, where’d you end up mounting it at?

I will say, for the "waterproof" ones on Amazon.... it's a plastic box, it might have a rubber gasket. Don't expect it to hold up if you take it scuba diving. They are very much the Chinese definition of waterproof.

Someone around here had a really nice install where they were able to tuck the box vertically into the front fender - kind of up and behind the fuse box lid.

I have the WUPP solid state panel - it was cheap enough if it fails I'll just replace the entire box. I mounted it along the firewall (just made a bracket out of some sheet metal I had laying around).

I ended up tapping into the line I had running to my amp in the dash, and that splitter arrangement I have wingnutted on top of the fuse box. That's a 100A main fuse, feeding two 60A - one to the WUPP for mainline power, the other back to my amp.

I tapped camera power with an add-a-tap in the fusebox for the switching power for the WUPP - none of my relays work unless the ACC is on. That was intentional. If I needed to override it, I could with a jumper.

I've got a couple extra taps tucked over along side the fuse box (can see one sticking out in the photo) - can kinda see the caps sticking out over there. 8 Aux switches total - 6 to the WUPP, and 2 to those additional fuses.

Shout out to @swooshdave for the Stinger 500 cover for my winch in the lower left of the photo.

Mine looked a lot cleaner when I first installed it. I've monkeyed with it a few times since and so it looks a bit more ... lived in.

Nice! That’s the one I was looking at too. So since you have it wired for ACC do you have the main power wire only to the ACC pole? Or both BATT and ACC?

Good question.

I have main battery power to the large main terminal (can’t recall what they are labeled offhand)

I have my ACC power going out to my switch bank from my add-a-tap, and then through the switch back to the turn-on terminals. I can dig up the exact wiring if you need.

Even though there is a constant 12v from the battery on the main terminal, the individual loads can only turn on when ACC power is on, and the specific switch for that load is on, and the fuse for that load is good.

Thank you would be great. I have another question I just thought about..can you tap into the aux wiring directly in the fuse box or would be more wise to wire directly to the aux wiring?

I know they have these things: https://www.amazon.com/Nilight-Circ...2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1
