So does anyone have pictures of what exactly the difference is between the light bar option with and without the Daytime Running Lights?

I don't see a clear definition of DRL is on that model.

It's what other manufacturers might call a "backlight," a separate low-brightness light for general visibility purposes that doesn't illuminate the main lightbar. If you aren't going to use that function, you can just get one without it, and save a couple bucks.
