I’m not having an overly productive evening, and it got me thinking about my Bronco.

Purely from an aesthetics viewpoint, should I keep the half roof rack or remove it. Which looks better?

It’s a good roof rack, zero issues - But I’ve been questioning what looks better.

Since you have that a/m top I say with rack. Unless the mount points have covers.

Roof racks look good on vehicle that look like they use them.

Ouch… What are you implying here?! 🤣

Honestly nothing at all.
Just that they look good when you know they are used. They just look like more mall crawl accessories on vehicles that never use them. I pass a couple of Tacomas every day with RTT and Rotopaxs that have probably never seen a dirt road and they just look douchey. I see several vehicles with full overland racks that I guarantee have never seen anything strapped down on them and it shows.

So if you use the rack, keep it on. If you don't, don't use it as an accessory.

Tough call on this one, I like this rack and think it's the best half rack on the market and on my short list. But aesthetically speaking, the OEM rack, Z-roads tubular rack and the arb low profile rack look best imo.

After looking at the photos a few more times, I would keep it on. And if you want to spice things up you can get one of those folding side ladders.

I feel like the rack gives a more aggressive "Over-landing" type of vibe.

Plus, with no room in the actual vehicle, you can put crap up there...

You already bought a more-door, why is aesthetics suddenly a consideration? :p
I’m surprised roof racks aren’t included on all 2 door builds. You folks need the extra cargo capacity more than we do… 😁
