Roof Light bar options

Oh, I already figured out a solution for wind noise... ;-)

I don't like wind noise and in my opinion you can light up anything with high quality bumper and a pillar mounted lights. Love the look of windshield mounted lights but can't live with the noise/whistle. Start with bumper and A pillar and then see if you want even more.

I went with a rigid light bar and added a wind defuser. Wired it to the uplifter switches.

This is my fav. If I was going to add a light bar, this would be the one I would pick

Frankly even with the hard top it's got enough wind noise I'm not sure we'd hear it.

The problem with bumper lights is that I've got the Capable bumper, not the modular, so stuff isn't as 'bolt on' as I'd like, it's either remove the bumper or drill the bumper, which is why I am looking at other options. I've considered the 'ditch lights' but I'm not sure on those yet.

You can fit 4 diode max or 4 baja squadrons in the capable which is a lot then 2 or 4 on the A pillar or even an XL80/LP4 on each A Pillar.

We actually have a lot of options available for you! We even have a patented plug-and-play wiring system, including a hidden lightbar harness, for the cleanest possible install. We also have multiple options for mounting up there, which includes our own high-mount brackets that allow for maximum airflow and reduced wind-noise.
Our Roof mount lighting kits are fully customizable, so you can choose whichever lightbar you want to put up there with your choice of brackets, too. We also offer a cross-mount option for up there that allows you to design your own lightbar from whatever selection of pod lights you choose.
The slimmest, most low-profile options for up there will be the Rigid SR Radiance+ light bar, or the Baja Designs S8 light bar, both of which have backlights for a cool ambient glow feature that can be connected to your parking/marker light circuit via our plug-and-play backlight harness, or they can be run to a secondary switch.
