Were your grommets the wide open rings that are for the Jeeps? Are the Broncos supposed to be closed face and you cut a slit in them (that's what the instructions look like)? What did you do, just call and they realized what they had sent you and said they would send out a different set?

Yeah I received the donuts. I called and they shipped the sealed ones the next day (today).

going through my inventory today, i was in a panic until i figured out the rear bracket really isnt curved like the picture because i want to install tomorrow....

Strange, my back brackets are the correct curved ones as shown in the instructions, but I got my steps back in early November way before this mass production started, I ordered mine through TcCustoms back when Mitch first pre-ordered them. I wonder if they changed the design between then and when y'all started getting yours built.

For those that have them installed how do they do on cutting down on tire spray going up the doors? With how far they stick out I am hoping they greatly reduce spray and rock chips that have been reported.

Dropped off today. Unfortunately, no idea when they will be installed. Still no VIN.
Can not believe how heavy the boxes are. Now to find a place to store them for 6 months.

Went through and inventoried everything. I also received the open donuts. A quick call and closed grommets are on there way. They also confirmed the straight rear hanger is a manufacturing mod. Early versions have curved. Current production is straight.

I just shot them an e-mail and they responded immediately. They are very aware of the problem by now and won't question it.

I called RSE today for status on shipping my order, as I was under the impression from Todd in earlier posts that all the orders in the original batch would be done last week (on Tues I believe there were 18 of the 4 door left to go and they were doing 12-15/day, and I was at the end of that list).

Turns out they told me mine would be done by end of this week, but that shipping to the east coast could take 8-9 business days. Anyone out here that can vouch for the shipping times you have seen?

On the good side, I guess you guys have caught the glitches so hopefully I will get the right parts the first time.

Are these the same magnet switches everyone is getting, or is this an updated part? I've heard people complaining about false openings. These look much smaller and less noticable than what I was expecting. I'm more inclined to use them than before.

That being said, I'm still investigating the possibility of extending the rockslide switch harness to run off of a relay that senses when the factory door triggers are, well, triggered. (This is just a theory at the moment, still waiting to test and see what signal the rockslide circuit board expects. And, how hard the trigger wires are to access on the truck... but I won't have a Bronco for a couple months!

FedEx is running VERY slow currently. Mine started moving on February 2nd and have been sitting at the local FedEx shipment center for the past 4 days. Hopefully they show up this week with the right grommets.
