Just installed the RIGID Chase Light Bronco Kit. The kit only replaces the 3rd brake light, which means only the Brake light comes on.... the chase light has 5 functions: Running, Brake, Reverse, Strobe, Courtesy. I set it up for all except courtesy light.

I used a modified custom harness from SPV parts and I also wired two AUX switches for the Reverse and Strobe.

Cool - This is a good option for those who want to eliminate the (albeit small) intrusion of the brake light housing on the view out the back. Does it flicker in the running mode, or is that the video? You needed 2 Aux switches (for reverse and strobe)?

Also - How much was it and how hard to wire up?

Yeah, I didn't like looking at that 3rd light above the tire. The Strobe is the only one that needs an Aux switch to operate. I also wanted to turn on all my reverse lights on a switch aside from the shifter. Flickering running light is only on the video.

RIGID Bronco kit - $399 (I got a 25% w/ free shipping at SoCal show)

SPV Taillight harness (modified) - $118

I ran two wires from the tailgate - behind back seats - driver side sill channel through the firewall plug to connect to the AUX switches.

The modified harness had a pigtail for the Strobe and I spliced into the Reverse wire on the harness.

Also I thought about the stock 3rd brake light wire like the RIGID kit requires but realized that wasn't going to work with the harness. I chased that wire to a connector inside the tailgate (larger compartment with removable panel). De-pinned that connector and and added a single wire connector to the harness for the stop light.

The waterproof plug lives inside the tire carrier. With the stock brake light removed, there's a small gap at the top where I can access the connector if I need to remove the spare tire.
